The function gives e raised to the power of a number. The constant **e** has a value of approximately 2.71828182845904.

## Syntax:

EXP(**Number**)

## Returns:

Returns a positive real number.

## Arguments:

**Number** is the real number or a reference to the cell containing that number which is the power to which **e** is to be raised.
