Summary:

Converts degrees to radians.

Syntax:

RADIANS(Number)

Returns:

Returns a real number which is the radian value of degrees input.

Arguments:

Number is a real number or a reference to the cell containing that number which is the angle in degrees to be converted into radians.

Additional details:

RADIANS(N) is equal to N*PI()/180, where N is the Number(angle in radians) and PI() is π.

Examples:

Formula Description Returns
=RADIANS(60) radian value of 60 degrees 1.0471975511966 (radians)
=RADIANS(180) radian value of 180 degrees 3.14159265358979 or PI or π (radians)
