When I try to open LibreOffice on a Windows 10 system deployed using sysprep, it hangs for several minutes

It has been reported that in some corporate Windows 10 deployments, when LibreOffice attempts to startup on a system deployed using sysprep tool, it may hang for a very long time (5 minutes or so), until it finally "wakes up" and continues loading normally.

That turns out to be a problem with unattend's copyprofile function in the sysprepped image; and it has something to do with wrong permissions set by Windows for several paths in default profile:

    • <DefaultUserProfile>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WebCache,
    • <DefaultUserProfile>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache
    • <DefaultUserProfile>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WebCacheLock.dat

Removing the folders and the file right after the deployment of Windows is reported to solve this problem for LibreOffice and other different programs that suffer from it. See more here. Thanks to Tisch for the information!
