Media Support/Windows/Audio Tests

From The Document Foundation Wiki

This page describes Audio Tests that we've run with LibreOffice on Windows to test our media support.

HINT: For a summary of supported media types, look at the tables on the primary Media Support page.

Data

This page is all about data. For more general information see

Audio Test Results

REMEMBER: On Windows we use DirectShow for video playback. If there is not a DirectShow filter present for a particular codec or Windows Media Player cannot play a particular file, LibreOffice probably won't be able to play that file.

Audio: 4.3.4.1

Jay and Jay's friend ran some tests:

  • Windows 7
  • Klite codec pack 10.6.5 (Jay used k-lite mega codec pack 10.7.1)
  • TDF build of LibreOffice 4.3.4.1

General results: Did not work

Jay repeated the test with 5.0 master (daily) from 2012-12-23, w/the same results.
