☑ 2025 reversion

Greetings Beluga,

Regarding your change from yesterday, thanks for the updates, but please explain what is wrong with the previous change. --Chealer (talk) 01:53, 20 September 2025 (UTC)

You said "LibreOffice was formerly (until 2019 or earlier) hosted by freedesktop.org", but this is not true. There are many things related to LibreOffice that need to be hosted and FDO has always hosted only some of them. The number of these has decreased over time and it was indeed appropriate to do a small update on the article right now. FDO has deprecated the hosting of its source code viewer cgit, which some of our devs still use. It has some convenience features (mainly the search) which ideally could be developed into Gitiles, which ships with Gerrit and hopefully we have the dev bandwidth some day to do it.--Beluga (talk) 06:45, 20 September 2025 (UTC)
I fixed this page and reported the mistake on FDO’s. Thank you for the explanation Beluga. --Chealer (talk) 26 September 2025
