  • If Denominator is 0, QUOTIENT function returns an error value.
  • If arguments are non-integral then the floor of the absolute value of the result is taken and returned with appropriate sign, i.e. the result is truncated to integer.
  • If sign of exactly one argument is negative, the result will have negative sign else the result will have positive sign.
