Cell border style handling for adjacent cells

Current Situation

Draft4 bottomrightcovers.png

1 - Cell border style of cells at the right or below have priority

Having adjacent cells with different border styles (for example one cell 'B4' with black border, all neighbor cells with yellow borders all around), the bottom border and the right border in black will not be shown. Example shown in [[Media: Draft4Examples.ods]] sheet "Examples0"

Advantages of that rule

  • ?

Disadvantages of that rule

  • If you want to Mark a cell with a different cell border color, you also have to modify 2 neighbor cells, see Media:Draft4Examples.ods Example 2.1

Rule broken

  • In Bug tdf#42339 - EDITING and VIEWING cell borders differs from expected and print first sample Tabelle1 'B13:C13' unexpectedly right border 'B13' 0.25pt white has priority to 'C13' left border black 0.25

2 - Thick border lines cover thin border lines

This rule seems to have priority to rule 1 for left borders, but not for top borders
