Summary:

Returns the positive square root of a number.

Syntax:

SQRT(Number)

Returns:

Returns a real non-negative number which is the positive square root of (PI multiplied by Number). The resultant value is between 0 and ∞, i.e. [0,∞).

Arguments:

Number is a non-negative real number or a reference to the cell containing that number whose square root is to be taken.

If the Number is negative, the function returns an error value.

Additional details:
