I cannot access my MS Access database with LibreOffice. There are no data sources of this type available

Only the name and the syntax have changed.

  • First of all you need the "Microsoft Jet Engine" to access your MS Access files. It's a part of the Microsoft Data Access Component, MDAC. Download the latest version and install it.
  • Then go to Utils > Data sources and in the dialogue box create a new ADO data source, and in the URL enter
 PROVIDER=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=<filepath>

When you have replaced <filepath> with the path to the file you will have something like "Data Source=C:\AllMyFiles\MaBDD.mdb"
