Eksempler:

Template:ExampleDatabaseFunction/da

The content of cells A12:E12 should be identical to the header labels for the database table in cells A1:E1. Make sure that cells A13:E13 are blank, except for cell D13 which should contain ">600" (this search criterion is intended to match records in the database table that have a value greater than 600 in the Distance to School column).

=DTÆL(A1:E10; "Distance to School"; A12:E13) Enter this formula into an empty cell elsewhere in the sheet to again calculate how many of Joe's party guests travel further than 600 meters to school. Note that the DatabaseField argument is included in this case. 5
=DTÆL(A1:E10; "Name"; A12:E13) Enter this formula into an empty cell elsewhere in the sheet to again attempt to calculate how many of Joe's party guests travel further than 600 meters to school. Note that the DatabaseField argument is included in this case but it specifies a column that contains no numeric data. 0
