Summary:

Converts radians into degrees.

Syntax:

DEGREES(Number)

Returns:

Returns a real number which is the degree value of radian input.

Arguments:

Number is a real number or a reference to the cell containing that number which is the angle in radians to be converted to degrees.

Additional details:

DEGREES(N) is equal to N*180/PI(), where N is the Number(angle in radians) and PI() is π.

Examples:

Formula Description Returns
=DEGREES(1) degree of 1 radian 57.2957795130823° (degrees)
=DEGREES(PI()) degree value of PI or π radians 180° (degrees)
