## Summary:

Converts radians into degrees.

## Syntax:

DEGREES(**Number**)

## Returns:

Returns a real number which is the degree value of radian input.

## Arguments:

**Number** is a real number or a reference to the cell containing that number which is the angle in radians to be converted to degrees.

## Additional details:

DEGREES(N) is equal to N*180/PI(), where N is the **Number**(angle in radians) and PI() is π.

## Examples:

=DEGREES(1) | degree of 1 radian | 57.2957795130823° (degrees) |

=DEGREES(PI()) | degree value of PI or π radians | 180° (degrees) |
