Talk:Development/Extension Development

    From The Document Foundation Wiki

Hello, The page states that one can develop extensions in Javascript, but I was unable to find any examples here, on the old openoffice Wiki or on Github. It would be great if an example and/or more information could be provided. --Jdittrich (talk) 2017-02-22T10:14:29 (UTC)

Have a look at http://opengrok.libreoffice.org/xref/core/scripting/examples/javascript/ --Sam m (talk) 2017-02-22T16:06:57 (UTC)
Thanks, that is something. I assume with the appropriate manifest file etc. I could package those JS files as .oxts, too? --Jdittrich (talk) 2017-02-22T20:08:49 (UTC)
Probably it will work. You might have a look at this extension: http://extensions.openoffice.org/de/node/17653 It has a js lib, but uses some basic glue code. Anyway, if you get it working, would be nice to hear back. --Sam m (talk) 2017-02-23T08:13:36 (UTC)
