Talk:Documentation/Calc Functions/COVAR
SF comments
- (1) General. COVAR performs the same function as COVARIANCE.P (I have checked the code). I would expect both this page and the COVARIANCE.P page to include a statement to this effect.
- (2) Returns. Insert space before open round bracket.
- (3) Arguments, 1st bullet point. Should “a reference to” be deleted? Also, I do not think that logical values (TRUE / FALSE) are ignored.
- (4) Arguments, 2nd bullet point. Change “number” to “numbers”.
- (5) Arguments, 3rd bullet point. Change “any” to “either”? Are you sure that “if the standard deviation of their values equals zero” is an error condition?
- (6) Additional details. Is there a suitable Wikipedia page to link to?
- (7) Examples. Insert space before open round bracket.
