    (1) Summary. Suggest the following replacement wording – “Calculates the depreciation of an asset in a single period using the straight-line depreciation method, when the useful life of the asset is specified as a number of such periods. This method depreciates the asset by the same constant value every period.”.
    (2) Returns. Maybe state that the value returned is in currency units and, by default, is formatted as a currency.
    (3) Arguments, Cost. There is no requirement for this argument to be positive. Change “an asset” to “the asset”. Maybe state that this argument should be entered in the same currency unit as the Salvage argument.
    (3) Arguments, Salvage. There is no requirement for this argument to be positive. Change “an asset” to “the asset”. Maybe state that this argument should be entered in the same currency unit as the Cost argument.
    (4) Arguments, Life. There is no requirement for this argument to be positive. Change “depreciation period determining the number of periods in the depreciation of the asset” to “the number of periods over which the asset is being depreciated”.
    (5) Arguments, bullet. Insert “equal to” before “0”.
    (6) Additional details. Please insert a link to the relevant Wikipedia page at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Depreciation#Straight-line_depreciation.
    (7) Additional details. There is no harm incorporating the formula for this function, i.e. SLN = (Cost – Salvage) / Life.
    (8) Examples, 1st and 2nd examples. Why are the two Descriptions so hugely different in content? It might also be worth stating again that the value returned is the value per period. I like the idea of an example which has a non-integer useful life but I'm not sure that it is worth raising questions with an example in which Lifetime is less that one period.
