    SF Comments

    (1) Summary. Suggest the following replacement text – “Calculates the date that is a given number of working days before or after a particular start date. Holidays can be specified. The non-working days of the week are taken to be Saturday and Sunday.”.
    (2) Summary. Suggest including the following as a tip – “To keep dates from being interpreted as parts of formulas use the DATE function, for example, DATE(1954;7;20), or place the date in quotation marks and use the ISO 8601 notation, for example, "1954-07-20". Avoid using locale dependent date formats such as "07/20/54", the calculation may produce errors if the document is loaded under different locale settings.”.
    (3) Returns. Suggest the following replacement text – “Returns an integer value which is the date-time sequence number of the calculated date. The returned value is formatted as a number by default, but you can apply other formats (such as date) as needed”
    (4) Arguments, StartDate. Suggest the following replacement text – “StartDate is a date (in quotation marks) or a date-time sequence number, or a reference to the cell containing one of those types, which is the start date for which the calculation is to be carried out.”
    (5) Arguments, Days. Suggest the following minor re-word – “Days is an integer value or a reference to a cell containing that value which is the number of working days to be used as the offset in the calculation. A positive value is entered to get a result later than StartDate, a negative value is entered to get a result earlier than StartDate, and a zero value returns the date component of StartDate.”.
    (6) Arguments, Holidays. I think that this paragraph should be updated to match the corresponding argument description for NETWORKDAYS, once the latter has been updated to reflect comments raised.
    (7) Arguments, 1st bullet. I do not understand what this bullet means. Is it trying to say that you would get a #VALUE! error if the date entered is invalid?
    (8) Arguments, new bullet. Include a statement that any time component of the StartDate argument is ignored.
    (9) Arguments, new bullet. Should we include a statement to explain that logical values TRUE and FALSE are treated the same as 1 and 0 if entered in the Days argument? Also, other non-numeric values give a #VALUE! error.
    (10) Additional details, new paragraph. “The description on this page uses the international standard ISO 8601 date format for clarity because this does not depend on locale; for example, 26th December 2020 is shown as 2020-12-26. The default date format on your computer may be different.”
    (11) Additional details, new paragraph. “Calc handles date-time values as numbers, known as date-time sequence numbers. For example, 12:00 PM on 2000-01-01, converts to 36526.5 (assuming that day zero is the default 1899-12-30). The value preceding the decimal point corresponds to the date; the value following the decimal point corresponds to the time. Times are represented as a fraction of a day - for example 0.5 is half a day, or 12 hours, or 12 noon; 0.25 is a quarter of a day, or 6 am.”
    (12) Additional details, 1st bullet. Suggest reword to “Working days are defined as non-weekend, non-holiday days. By default, there are no holidays. Weekends are always Saturdays and Sundays in WORKDAY”.
    (13) Additional details, 2nd bullet. Suggest re-wording as follows – “Calc's WORKDAY function does not support the optional Workdays argument that is specified in ODF 1.2 but is compatible with Microsoft Excel’s function of the same name. If you need to specify a different working week, then use Calc’s WORKDAY.INTL function.”
    (14) Additional details. Delete the green and blue notes.
    (15) Examples, Formula descriptions. Change four occurrences of “where we format the serial date number as a date in the format YYYY-MM-DD” to “where the cell is formatted as a date”. Also change one occurrence of “where we don't format the serial date number” to “where the cell is formatted as a number”.
    (16) Examples, 1st and 2nd examples. I do not think we need so much replication of the test data. Suggest replacing description with the simpler – “The function returns the date that was 17 working days after 2001-12-01, taking into account five holiday dates over the Christmas and New Year period.”.
    (17) Examples, 3rd example. Suggest replacing description with the simpler – “The function returns the date that was 17 working days after 2001-12-01, without allowing for any holidays.”.
    (18) Examples, 4th example. Suggest replacing description with the simpler – “The function returns the date that was 17 working days after 2001-12-01, without allowing for any holidays (in this example, 17.8 is truncated to an integer value).”.
    (19) Examples, 5th example. Suggest replacing description with the simpler – “The function returns the date that was 7 working days before 2001-12-01, without allowing for any holidays.”.
    (20) Related LibreOffice functions. NETWORKDAYS_EXCEL2003 should probably be included in this list.
