Is there really an email package!? (package ?= package)
Quote: "Some of the lesser- known features include a charting library, spell checker, forms designer, thesaurus, e- mail package, and support for extensions (e.g. new menu items and libraries)."

Helper code in the book make it possible using JavaMail. Using those methods, you can send/receive email. See Documentation/SDKGuide/Sending_E-mail. --Hossein (talk) 11:09, 6 June 2024 (UTC)

    Documentation scripts

I couldn't find a file named "lodoc" or "loguide" in the sources. Not in the bin folder or anywhere else.
    And on Linux/UNIX `bin/lodoc xtext` wouldn't work and `./bin/lodoc xtext` would be needed instead.
(for Windows it would be \ instead of /)

You can find the script in the code, which is not part of the core repository yet. See JLOP Source code. --Hossein (talk) 11:11, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
