Meta Bugs (or Tracking Bugs) are used to keep track of sets of bugs that are related in ways that don't fit in available values in other fields (like Component or Keyword).
If Bugzilla tickets have a corresponding meta bug, it can be listed in the "Blocks" field. There can be several relevant meta bugs for one ticket, but please only use the most relevant ones (and the lowest level that matches, given that meta bugs can have meta bugs).
Meta bugs for specific topics
There are some special meta bugs for specific tasks or areas of interest:
Other Meta Bugs
We also track some other categories of annoying bugs:
Category | Tracking | Query still open bugs | Comment |
---|---|---|---|
Regressions | existing | opened | regressions against older releases; have the word regression in the Whiteboard |
