Design/Whiteboards/Inline view

    From The Document Foundation Wiki

    Goals

    • Scrolling through slides
    • Being able to read through slides as with a document.

    Proposed Solution

Slides are shown below each other, much like pages are shown within Writer. Objects that cross the border of a slide are "cropped" at the border (i.e. only the parts within the slide are shown) and is only shown in full when selected. An object could not be placed on the grayspace surrounding slides. An object could be dragged to another slide to be moved to that slide. An object could not be on two slides at the same time. When inserting an object into a presentation, the slide where the object is being inserted would be shown in 100% opacity and the other slides would be faded to 70% opacity.

    Optional additions

If this proposal passes, it would be nice if it integrated other proposed inline elements, like Slide handles and an "Add slide" button.
