Document Freedom Day (DFD) is an annual, international event "celebrating information accessibility and raising awareness of Open Standards" held on the last Wednesday in March each year.

Wednesday (26th)
- ATELIS will have an "online" DFD event.
- LibreOffice Argentina will have an event on Wednesday.
- Brazil has events planned in three different regions.
- Taiwan will have two DFD meetings:
- Taipei: 18:30 at WaWa Book 2nd Floor - 2F., No.3, Sec. 2, Bade Rd., Da’an Dist., Taipei City, Taiwan
- imacat will be sharing "from doc, docx to odt and GoogleDocs".
- We'll also share the latest development of LibreOffice 4.2.1 and OpenOffice 4.1.
- Hualien: 19:30 at Yuri Suangan Caf'e - No.6, Ln. 58, Minquan St., Yuli Township, Hualien County, Taiwan
- Taipei: 18:30 at WaWa Book 2nd Floor - 2F., No.3, Sec. 2, Bade Rd., Da’an Dist., Taipei City, Taiwan
- Japan will have a small dinner party in Tokyo. Most people might speak Japanese, but foreigners are also welcome. The official site is written in Japanese, so if non-Japanese speaker want to join please tell me (naruoga@gmail.com). Acctual place haven't decided yet and please keep eye on the site (or ask me).
Saturday (29th)
- LibreOffice USA is having a lunch meeting on Saturday in Hanover, NH.
- LibreOffice Venezuela will celebrate on Saturday (all day).
- FSUGItalia is organizing an event on Saturday in Arezzo, IT.
