This is a page about a Brazilian Portguese magazine that was active until 2017.

    What is LibreOffice Magazine?

LibreOffice Magazine is a publication by the Brazilian Libreoffice Community. The magazine is entirely made using LibreOffice tools, right from authoring texts to the final diagramming and PDF format generation. All themes, and all published articles are made by community volunteers and invited people. Articles from foreign sources are translated by the translation team, which is also responsible for translating texts for a future English version.

    Targetted Reader Profile

Office suite users who use a text editor, spreadsheets, presentations editor, design editor, database, and who develop programs for automated editing tasks.

This user profile is quite broad, including business world, technicians, IT analysts, advanced users; all levels of education from primary levels to university, students and teachers, public administration and domestic users; in other words, general users. So, our magazines need to use a broader language and allow many kinds of sections with different kinds of content.

    What are the Magazine's Goals?

    • Expose the LibreOffice product
    • Produce documentation on LibreOffice
    • Help expose the international project
    • Integrate users, developers and supporters communities
    • Support open standards technologies, especially the Open Document Format (ODF)
    • Support FLOSS
